a little more about me!

Hi! I am so glad you are here and I hope that we are a great match and I can be an important part of your "I do"! 

I remember sitting at my brother's soccer game when I was 6 years old and learning how to french braid. It was love at first braid and I would find every opportunity to fix someone's hair. Unfortunately, with four brothers and no sisters, those opportunities were few and far between. I got a corn silk Cabbage Patch doll for Christmas one year and with her silky hair, I styled away!

I graduated from college with a degree in Human Development and a goal to become a therapist. However, when the time came to continue on, it didn't feel like the right direction. I started to toss around the idea of hair school and luckily, my supportive parents encouraged me to do it! I got my cosmetology license in 2003 and have loved doing hair since. I mean, a hair stylist is basically a therapist, right??

When my daughter was born with a head of gorgeous, thick hair, all my dreams came true! She had the cutest hair around (if I do say so myself)! My love for creating beautiful hairstyles hasn't wained and I'm always so excited to get to do event hair.

Bridal hair was an area where I saw a huge need. Every bride wants to feel gorgeous on her wedding day, and I knew that I had the skill set to be a part of that. Plus, I love everything that goes along with a wedding...hair, flowers, dresses, decor, it is all so magical. I'm honored every time someone choses me to be a part of one of the most important days of their life!
